Welcome to the Research Lab at the Heart Centre, University of Leipzig. The lab is a multidisciplinary environment with people working on projects in quantitative cytometric cell analysis
The major focus of our group is the quantitative analysis of cells and cell systems by Cytomics and Tissomics as markers and data inventory for characterisation of health and diseases.
Major scientific projects are immunology and stress response of congenital heart diseases and developmental aspects of the immune system. In addition, we develop novel assays and instrumentation for quantitative high-content single-cell analysis of cell suspension, cell cultures and tissue biopsies and sections.
Our national and international collaboration partners are from academics and industry. You will find more details on ongoing and past project and our technologies on our website.
